International Women's Day Initiatives
International Women's Day was observed through collaborative programmes involving government departments, NABARD, and banking institutions, creating opportunities to discuss women's rights, empowerment, financial awareness, and livelihood development.
Mamata Udyog
Mamata Udyog was established as a micro-enterprise and marketing initiative to support women's Self-Help Groups (WSHGs), providing a platform for strengthening enterprise development, product promotion, branding, quality improvement, and market access for goods produced by women-led groups.
Non-Farm Skill Development
Women were supported through practical training in alternative livelihood activities, including terracotta-based handicrafts, palm-leaf engraving, and other traditional and non-farm skills — enhancing technical abilities, encouraging entrepreneurship, and diversifying household income beyond agriculture.
