SDF is a not-for-profit organization working with tribal, Dalit, and rural communities across Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand, in areas including agriculture, water & sanitation, health & hygiene, education, and women & child welfare. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You will not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to extract content at scale without our written permission.
• Upload or transmit anything unlawful, defamatory, or that infects the Site with malicious code.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on the Site (contact, volunteer, careers, or donation).
• Use the Site to impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with SDF.

Unless otherwise noted, all text, photographs, graphics, and the SDF name and logo on this Site are the property of SDF or used with permission, and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. You may view, download, and print pages of the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use, and may share links to our pages, provided you do not remove any copyright or attribution notice. You may not otherwise reproduce, republish, or distribute our content — including field photographs — for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

Reports, certificates, and other documents made available for download under Resources are provided for transparency and reference; please do not alter them before sharing.

When you use our Contact, Volunteer, or Careers forms, you are submitting that information voluntarily so that we can respond to your enquiry, application, or request. You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to share it (for example, before uploading someone else’s contact details). See our Privacy Policy for how this information is handled.

Donations made through the Site are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay, using the payment method you select (card, UPI, netbanking, etc.). SDF does not receive or store your full card or bank details — these are handled entirely within Razorpay’s secure, PCI-compliant systems. By donating, you confirm that the funds you are contributing are your own and lawfully obtained, and you agree to our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Tax-exemption receipts (80G) are issued in line with the registration status published on our Legal Status page.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (such as our social media pages or partner organizations) and embedded content from third-party services (such as a Google Maps location on our Contact page, and Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms from spam). We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices; your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on this Site — our programme descriptions, reach statistics, and registration details — accurate and up to date, but the Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SDF and its trustees, staff, and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our programmes, our Site, or applicable law. The “Last updated” date above shows when these Terms were last revised. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Angul, Odisha.
