Seed Processing and Seed Conservation Training Programme

The Seed Processing and Seed Conservation Training Programme was successfully conducted with active participation from farmers representing different social and economic backgrounds. The programme followed a participatory approach in which all farmers were encouraged to share their experiences, discuss field-level challenges, and learn from one another. Government officials also participated in the programme and provided technical guidance and facilitation throughout the training process.

The training focused on improving farmers' understanding of quality seed management and sustainable agricultural practices. Participants were introduced to important aspects such as seed treatment, safe and appropriate use of pesticides, seed preservation, and methods for maintaining seed quality for future cultivation.
