Naming what safe and respectful looks like, before a workplace or a classroom has to find out the hard way what it doesn't.
An awareness programme on the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 was organised for students and staff to promote understanding of safe, respectful, and inclusive environments. The programme focused on creating awareness about the provisions of the Act, the importance of preventing sexual harassment, and the mechanisms available for reporting and addressing complaints. Participants were encouraged to recognise inappropriate behaviour, respect personal dignity and boundaries, and contribute towards building a culture based on equality and mutual respect.
